About us
Hi, I am Beverly Gillespie, Owner and creator of Bevvy's Gourmet. I began making dip mixes after going to several craft fairs, parties, meetings and get togethers. I tasted others, as I have a soft spot in my heart for a great dip or desert, and thought...I could do that. After all the years of thinking..."If they would just add this...or if only this was fresh cucumber..." Well, instead of thinking about it, I decided to try it. After much taste testing between family, friends and co-workers, I took my products on the road to many craft fairs and events. The result was astounding...I heard things like, this is so bold, wow...you can actually taste the onion and not just sour cream. This inspired me to go forward with my dream of owning and operating my own business. Today, I have a shop in Winnsboro Louisiana where I make, package and sell my own dip mix, cheesecake pie mix, soup mix and meal mixes. I am involved with wholesaling, fundraisers for schools and churches and most of all, I get to hear the great stories of how someone found a new favorite flavor.
